Applying masks to the scalp can be done in an open or covered way. Applying the mask open means the mask is left uncovered, for 20 minutes, after which it partially dries and the scalp is washed. It addresses non-oily masks.
In the case of oil-based masks, they need a longer time to take effect and the covered method is preferred for greater efficiency. The scalp can be covered in a towel, or, even more effectively, in a plastic waterproof helmet. This wrapping is designed to create a local temperature slightly higher, causing perspiration and open pores. The active substances in the mask can penetrate deeper into the skin.
Although the treatment is very effective, however 1% of the patients do not achieve the desired results!
